AgapéSoul Featuring Darryl Anders

AgapéSoul is the creation of bassist, songwriter, and producer Darryl Anders. His resume includes live performances  with the legendary Tower of Power and recording and performing with Meters drummer Zigaboo Modeliste, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Bonnie Hayes, and R&B powerhouse Ledisi.

AgapéSoul’s debut record  Believe in Love earned immediate comparisons to popular R&B/jazz ensembles Incognito and Brand New Heavies, ascending in short order to the #1 spot on the UK Soul Chart. AgapéSoul’s long-awaited follow-up album Conversations made an even bigger splash worldwide, hitting not only the #1 spot on the UK Soul Chart—twice—but also the #1 spot on the Indie Soul Chart in the US. 

AgapéSoul’s latest 6-song EP, Heart Conditions, features incredible performances by some of the best singers in the game. The three lead singles—“Bulletproof” features Grammy Award winner, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tommy Sims, “Nobody But You” features Grammy Award-nominated, chart-topping soul, jazz and R&B singer Maysa, and “Breathless” features longtime AgapeSoul collaborator Zoe Ellis—testify to the beauty and range of the human experience that are explored through the music of AgapéSoul.
